The Country Road Route - 72 Miles (1 Hour 40 Minutes)

For those who prefer a more scenic drive, the country road route may be the perfect choice. This route takes you off the highways and onto smaller roads that wind through rural Texas. You'll pass through small towns like Ferris and Forney, and see lots of beautiful farmland and fields.

If you're looking for a place to stretch your legs, check out the Catfish Plantation in Waxahachie. It's a historic restaurant with lots of character and great food.

The Fort Worth and Dallas Tour Route - 82 Miles (2 Hours)

If you have some extra time and want to see more of the cities on your trip, this route takes you through Fort Worth and Dallas. You'll start off by following I-35W N through Fort Worth, where you can see landmarks like the Fort Worth Stockyards and the Kimbell Art Museum. Then you'll hop onto I-30 E and take that through Dallas, passing by the Cotton Bowl and Fair Park.

If you're into art, definitely stop at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. In Dallas, the Dallas Arboretum is a great spot to stretch your legs and take in some beautiful gardens.
