The Great East Coast Road Trip: Bristol, RI to East Nantmeal Township, PA

Route 1: I-95 and I-476
Distance: 275 miles

This is the quickest and most direct route. After leaving Bristol, RI, you'll head straight down I-95 and take a left onto I-476 just outside of Philadelphia. You'll stay on I-476 for the remainder of the trip.
While this route doesn't offer many scenic views, there are plenty of places to stop along the way. If you're hungry, make a pit stop in New Haven, CT for some world-famous pizza at Pepe's Pizzeria. If you're in the mood for some history, check out the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.
Route 2: Ocean Parkway and Garden State Parkway

If you're looking for a more scenic route, this one is for you! Instead of taking the highway, you'll take Ocean Parkway through southern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut. Then, jump on the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey and take it down to East Nantmeal Township.
The downside to this route is that it takes a bit longer. However, you'll be able to enjoy ocean views and lighthouse sightings along the way. Plus, you can stop at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ for some thrilling rides.
Route 3: I-84 and I-81

This route takes you through the heart of the northeast. After leaving Bristol, you'll take I-84 across Connecticut and then merge onto I-81 in Pennsylvania.
The upside to this route is that you'll get to see some beautiful mountain landscapes along the way. Plus, you can stop at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA for some sweet entertainment.
