There are several routes you can take from Bristol, PA to Allentown, NJ, each with its own scenic views and attractions. Here's a guide to help you plan your journey along the Delaware:
Route 1: The Scenic Route

If you're looking for a leisurely drive, Route 1 is for you. This route takes you along the Delaware River and through several quaint towns, including Yardley and Washington Crossing. You'll see historic landmarks and beautiful scenery along the way.

Route 4 goes along the Delaware Canal and is an excellent scenic drive with many beautiful views of the canal. You'll pass through Washington Crossing and New Hope, so it's highly recommended to make a detour and enjoy this historic village.

- Downtown New Hope: This historic village is home to many shops and eateries, it is a great place to stop for lunch.
- Peddler’s Village: A cute little town with cute shops and restaurants.
Route 5: The Delaware River Bridges Route
Distance: Approximately 36 miles
Time: 59 minutes
Route 5 is the most challenging of all of the routes, and it's not advisable for those who are scared of heights. You'll cross bridges and drive through mountainous terrain, but the views from the bridges are stunning and worth it.

- Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve: Take a walk through this beautiful nature preserve, there is a price of $8 to access the preserve.
- The Masons Creek Trailhead: This trail is a 1.7 miles hike that goes through the peaceful woods of Lookout Creek Farm.
