For those looking to get to Sudbury as quickly as possible, the most direct route is taking I-84 and I-90, which will take approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. The drive starts on I-84 East, which takes you through Hartford, Connecticut. Once you cross the Massachusetts border, I-90 East takes over and brings you into Sudbury. While the interstate route may be the quickest, it's not the most scenic.

For a trip that will make you feel like you're traveling back in time, take this route. Start on Route 44 in Connecticut, which will take you through the picturesque small towns of Avon and Canton. Then, hop on Route 117 in Massachusetts and continue through Stow until you reach Sudbury. While this route is only 70 miles, budget up to 2 hours of drive time because of the winding, hilly roads and quaint downtowns you'll encounter. We recommend stopping at The Collins Creamery in Enfield, Connecticut, and Haute Coffee in Concord, Massachusetts.
