Road Trip: Brighton, MI to Montpelier, OH

This route takes you through more rural areas and is a bit longer at approximately 200 miles. But if you enjoy driving through small towns and countryside scenery, this might be the route for you. Take M-125 south to US-23 South. The route should take you about 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Recommendations: If you're looking for a great place to stop, the town of Bowling Green is worth a visit. It's home to Bowling Green State University, so there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. You can also check out the National Tractor Pulling Championships if you happen to be passing through during the event.
Option 3: M-36 West and US-127 South
This scenic route takes you on M-36 West and then south on US-127. This is the longest route at approximately 223 miles, but it's also the most beautiful. You'll drive through small towns and past rolling hills and farmland. The route should take you about 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Recommendations: If you want to stop and stretch your legs, there's a great state park in Jackson, MI called the Falling Waters Trail. It's a 10-mile trail that's perfect for hiking or biking. Plus, there are plenty of picnic areas if you want to have a snack.
