Navigating from Bridgewater to Littleton: Discover The Best Routes

When planning a trip from Bridgewater to Littleton, it’s essential to know your way around and understand the different routes available. With varying distances and travel times, there’s no single definitive route to take. Nevertheless, we’ve crafted a guide with two routes that can simplify your journey.

Route 1: The Highway Route

If you’re prioritizing getting to Littleton as quickly as possible without the distraction of local metropolitan scenery, taking the highway route is a smart choice. This route follows Interstate 495 North, which will take you between the two towns in approximately 50-55 minutes.

To take this route, head north on I-495 for approximately 47 miles towards Littleton. Along this route, you’ll have the opportunity to exit and check out some of the local towns. We recommend stopping in Westford to enjoy the Nashoba Valley Winery or have a hot dog at Gary’s Ice Cream & Food.

Route 2: The Scenic Route

For those with more free time or interest in taking the scenic route, Bridge Street and Route 2 East can offer local flavor and beautiful views of northeastern Massachusetts. This route will take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Starting in Bridgewater, drive west along Route 104, winding your way through local towns like Middleboro and Lakeville before reaching Route 58 North. Follow Route 58 North to Route 14 West, which will lead you to the outskirts of Wrentham and Foxboro. Here, you’ll connect to I-95 North heading towards Boston.

Along the way, we suggest taking a break in Franklin to grab lunch at The Rome Restaurant or Two Sisters Coffee. After, continue north on I-95 towards Route 2 West to Littleton.

Which route should you take?

Ultimately, which route you take depends on your schedule and travel preferences. If you prefer a highway route that will expedite your trip, Route 1 is the most direct way to get to Littleton. However, if you’re looking to take in some breathtaking scenery and local places, Route 2 is the best choice.

Regardless of which route you take, both options include fun opportunities for stops and local exploration. From beautiful vineyards to delicious restaurants, there’s something for everyone on either route.

Safe travels!
