A Road Trip From Braidwood to Woongarrah

The Pacific Highway

The most direct way to get from Braidwood to Woongarrah is via the Pacific Highway, which takes around 4 hours and 15 minutes by car. This route is ideal if you are looking for a relatively short and straightforward trip. However, there is little to no scenery along the way. Therefore, if you're looking to soak up some of New South Wales' natural beauty, this may not be the best option for you.

The Coast Road

If you're looking for a scenic drive along the coast, then taking the coast road is the perfect option for you. The drive will take approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes, but the view is worth the extra drive time. This route offers breathtaking views of the coastline and the Pacific Ocean. Make sure you stop at some of the beautiful beaches along the way, including Batemans Bay and the stunning Jervis Bay Beach.

Hume Highway and Princes Highway

Another option is to take the Hume Highway and then head east onto the Princes Highway. This journey will take approximately 5 hours and 15 minutes by car. Although this route isn't as scenic as the coastal road, it is faster and more direct. Make sure you stop at some of the charming towns along the route, such as Berry and Kiama. Berry is a picturesque town with charming shops and cafes, while Kiama is famous for its stunning lighthouse and blowhole.
