Road Trip: From Bound Brook to Long Branch

The beach is calling and you're ready for a fun road trip from Bound Brook to Long Branch. While both are in New Jersey, they're actually located on opposite sides of the state. Continue on the Parkway for approximately 30 miles until you reach exit 105.

This route is about 34 miles and should take you about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. There are plenty of rest stops along the way if you need a break or a quick bite to eat. We recommend stopping at Cheesequake State Park to stretch your legs and explore the beautiful trails.

Route 2: Via Route 18

If tolls aren't your thing, another option is to take Route 18 South. This route is a bit longer, but it's toll-free. Starting from Bound Brook, take Route 22 East to Route 287 South and get off at exit 10 for Easton Avenue. Follow Easton Avenue to Route 18 South. Continue on Route 18 South for approximately 25 miles until you reach Long Branch.

This route is about 37 miles and should take you about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Along the way, you'll pass through some beautiful towns like New Brunswick and East Brunswick. We recommend stopping at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park in Long Branch for a scenic stroll on the beach.

Route 3: Scenic Route via Route 79

If you're in the mood for a scenic drive, take Route 79 South. Starting from Bound Brook, take Route 22 East to Route 527 South. Continue on Route 527 South to Route 79 South. Follow Route 79 South for approximately 25 miles until you reach Long Branch.

This route is about 30 miles and should take you about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic. Along the way, you'll pass through rolling hills and farmland. We recommend stopping at Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck for some delicious locally-made treats.
