Road Trip to Rockland: Exploring the different routes and travel times

Continue along MA-3A S until you reach Plymouth. This route covers a distance of approximately 42 miles and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Route 3: The Direct Route

If time is of the essence or you prefer a more direct route, the Direct Route may be the best option. Beginning at Boston, take I-93 S and then merge onto MA-3 S via exit 7. Follow MA-3 S until you reach exit 14, which will take you onto MA-228 N. Follow MA-228 N until you reach Rockland. This route is the shortest option, covering a distance of approximately 22 miles and taking around 30 minutes.
