Road Trip from Bloomfield, New Jersey to Winslow Township, New Jersey

Are you hoping to escape the hustle and bustle of the city? Maybe you’re craving some fresh air and a relaxing small-town vibe. If so, Winslow Township may be the perfect destination for you! But first, you need to get there. So, let’s take a look at the different routes and travel times for your road trip from Bloomfield to Winslow.

Route 1: The NJ Turnpike

Of course, the most direct route would be to take the NJ Turnpike. From Bloomfield, you would hop on the Turnpike at exit 15W. Head south for about 50 miles and take exit 7 toward Bordentown/Trenton. After that, take Route 206 South for another 10 miles and you’ll have arrived in Winslow Township!

This route is the fastest, taking only 1 hour and a half, on average. However, tolls can add up quickly on the NJ Turnpike.

Route 2: Route 70

If you’d rather take a more scenic route and avoid the tolls, you could consider taking Route 70. Beginning in Cherry Hill, Route 70 winds its way through the Pine Barrens before reaching Winslow Township.

From Bloomfield, take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 38 for Atlantic City Expressway East. Stay on the expressway for 2 miles and then take exit 41 toward Route 73 South. After that, keep straight onto Route 70 East. The drive takes about 2 hours, but there are several fun stops you can make along the way. Check out a classic car museum, grab a bite at a diner, or even see the Atsion Mansion and Village in Wharton State Forest.

Route 3: Route 206

Another option is to travel down Route 206. This route takes you through the Watchung Mountains and skims the eastern edge of the Pine Barrens.

From Bloomfield, take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 129 for the NJ Turnpike South. After that, take exit 7 toward Bordentown/Trenton and follow Route 206 South to Winslow Township. This route takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes but is particularly scenic in the fall when the leaves are changing color. You can stop at cheesemongers, wineries, and enjoy local cuisine in charming small towns along the way.

No matter which route you choose, a road trip from Bloomfield to Winslow Township is bound to be a fun adventure. And once you’re in Winslow, there’s plenty to do, from exploring the Pine Barrens to fishing in nearby lakes. So hit the road and enjoy the journey!
