This route is approximately 630 miles long and will take you around 10-11 hours with normal traffic conditions. You’ll drive west from Biloxi to Hattiesburg, MS, before taking a turn north towards Texas through Nacogdoches before turning west to Forney.

Along the way, we suggest taking time to explore places such as the historic town of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and the quaint town of Athens, Texas. We assure you that the extra hours spent exploring will not disappoint.

Route 3: via US-90 and TX-31

If you love scenic views and the calming sound of waves while driving, we recommend going through the southern route. This route will take you through the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Texas Piney Woods. Starting from Biloxi, you'll head west on US-90 before taking a turn north on TX-87 towards Tyler. From there, you will head west on TX-31 towards Forney.

The total length of this route is approximately 700 miles, which can take up to 12 hours to complete with regular traffic conditions. We suggest making a stop at the Buc-ee’s gas station in Luling, Texas, and trying some of their delicious BBQ sandwiches.

Route 4: via I-10, I-49, and I-20
