To take this route, you’ll head southeast on TX-199 E/Jack exum Pkwy, merge onto I-820 S, then merge again onto I-20 W. From there, take Exit 442 toward Kennedale-Pembroke Rd, left on Little Rd, and right on 1st St.

If you’re traveling during peak traffic times, however, your ETA may be significantly longer. For example, if you hit the road between 4 pm and 6 pm on a weekday, you can expect to experience heavy traffic on I-820 S and I-20 W, which could add an extra 15 to 20 minutes of driving time.

The Scenic Route

If you’re not in a hurry and prefer to take a scenic route, you may want to try a 42.4 miles road trip that should take approximately 1 hour and 3 minutes of driving time. To take this route, head southeast on E. Main St. and continue on FM Road 1886 heading towards Keller. From there, take Keller Parkway southeastward to Davis Blvd N, turn right on Davis Blvd N, and continue to US-287 S. You’ll finally turn left on Kennedale-Pkwy Rd, then take right on Kennedale-Cardinal Rd.

This route may take a bit longer due to traffic lights, but you’ll enjoy beautiful farmland, rolling hills, and picturesque small towns along the way. Performance problems may arise with this route when traffic builds upon on US-287 S, so keep it in mind.

The Slowest Route

At 42.2 miles with an estimated driving time of 1 hour and 5 minutes, FM Road 1886 is the slowest route. Head southeast on E. Main St. and take FM Road 1886 towards Keller. From there, continue on Keller Parkway towards North Tarrant Parkway to Harmon Rd. Turn left on Harmon Rd and continue towards Old Decatur Rd to continue down Kennedale-Pebble Rd.

Although it’s the longest route, it avoids the highways, and it gives you the chance to enjoy the beautiful Texas countryside. Keep in mind there may be slow-moving trucks.
