Road Tripping from Athens to Key West

From there, connect to I-10W towards Tallahassee and then take FL-319 S and US-98 W until you reach Key West. This route is approximately a 14-hour drive but offers stunning views of the Georgia and Florida countryside, as well as Gulf of Mexico.

The Straight Shot

If you're less concerned about taking in the sights and more focused on getting to your destination quickly, taking I-75S to FL-826 W and connecting to US-1 S towards Key West is the most straightforward option. This route is approximately a 12-hour drive but offers fewer chances for pit stops along the way.
