If you want to take the scenic route and explore the countryside, you can take US-42 S and US-36 W instead. This route is much longer than the previous one, at around 280 miles. It will take you through a number of charming towns such as Loudonville and Mt. Vernon. You can also stopover at the Mohican State Park and enjoy its spectacular hiking trails. However, this route is slow going and will take approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach Dublin.
