To get a more accurate estimate of travel time, we once again used Google Maps to determine the time during peak traffic and off-peak hours. During peak traffic days and times, the estimated travel time is 57 hours and 23 minutes, while during off-peak hours, it is estimated to take 45 hours and 47 minutes.

Other Options

Of course, you don't have to take the fastest or the slowest route. Depending on your preferred travel style, budget, and time, you can choose another route that suits you best. You might opt for a middle ground, taking a mix of interstate highways and scenic routes, or break up your journey into several stops to see more sights along the way.

Before driving, make sure that your car is in good condition, and you have enough fuel, food, and water to sustain you for the trip. Take breaks every few hours to rest, move your body, and avoid fatigue. Remember that the journey is as important as the destination. With proper planning and a sense of adventure, you can make the most of your cross-country drive from Apple Valley, California to Middleton, Massachusetts.
