Once you cross the border, follow the signs for Montreal.

This route is approximately 302 miles and takes about 6 hours and 20 minutes of driving time. If you’re looking to enjoy the scenery and take your time, this is definitely the route for you.

The Slowest Route

If you want to take the scenic route but don’t want to add too much time to your trip, then the slowest route is through the Berkshires in Massachusetts. This route takes you through some of the most picturesque towns in Western Massachusetts, including Lenox and Stockbridge.

To get to this route, take I-91 N until you reach Exit 17B for US-5 N towards East Longmeadow. From there, continue on US-5 N until you reach MA-57 W. Take a left onto MA-57 W and follow the signs towards Great Barrington. Continue on MA-7 N until you reach Stockbridge. From there, take a right onto US-20 E and continue on until you cross the Vermont border. Once you cross the border, take a left onto VT-9 W and follow the signs for Montreal.

This route is approximately 298 miles and takes about 6 hours and 20 minutes of driving time. However, the slow pace of this route is perfect for those looking to soak in the scenery and enjoy a leisurely drive.
